The Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf al-Ashraf, represented by His Eminence Sayyid al-Sistani (may his shadow be prolonged), issued on Wednesday, 2023-10-10, a statement regarding the ongoing war in occupied Palestine, which erupted following the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation carried out by Palestinian resistance fighters on October 7, 2023—a strike that inflicted unprecedented pain and suffering upon the Zionist occupiers, the likes of which had not been witnessed throughout all the decades of previous occupation. In response, the Zionist occupier attempted to exact revenge upon the innocent people of Gaza with blatant savagery.
