About The Center

Established in 2015, the Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning is an Iraqi non-governmental, non-profit organization. It is officially registered with the Non-Governmental Organizations Department at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

The Center is dedicated to contributing to human development, recognizing individuals as the nation’s greatest asset. This is achieved through organizing programs aimed at nurturing and developing promising youth, and conducting courses to cultivate leaders who can propose and embrace pioneering visions and plans. Such efforts aim to elevate both the individual and society, preserving the distinct identity and value system of Iraqi society. This system is rooted in a commitment to moral integrity, the embodiment of commendable qualities, and the rejection of all forms of corruption, including administrative, financial, intellectual, ethical, and others.

The Center also strives to participate in state-building by offering practical visions and solutions to the principal problems and challenges facing the state. This involves developing mechanisms for public sector management, shaping public policies, and formulating strategic plans. These efforts are grounded in rigorous studies based on documented data and information, facilitated through regular meetings with relevant state authorities and international organizations. Furthermore, the Center aims to support and enhance the private sector, reducing citizens’ reliance on state institutions.
