Recently published: The book “Encyclopedia of the Philosophy of History”

Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning recently published “Encyclopedia of the Philosophy of History” by Dr. Saieb Abdulhameed. The book approaches the philosophy of history from a lexicographical and encyclopedic perspective, amalgamating prominent figures in the field along with their most significant works, and providing simplified summaries of their principal ideas.
The author has emphasized conciseness without compromising content as much as possible, hence selecting the title “Encyclopedia,” which is deemed more suitable than “Lexicon,” which has largely become specialized in biographies, and more appropriate than “Dictionary,” which focuses on vocabularies and their meanings.
Dr. Saieb Abdulhameed exerted significant effort to produce the book in the best possible form, sparing no effort to achieve this. He particularly focused on the philosophers’ ideas and theories, while providing very brief biographical descriptions.
