Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning held an extensive roundtable discussion titled “Priorities of the Ministerial Program for the Upcoming Government,” with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists.<\/p>\n
The discussions during the session centered on three main themes: the methodology for preparing the ministerial program, determining its key priorities for the next phase, and exploring the debate over whether the program should comprehensively cover all government activities or focus on specific dossiers and issues.<\/p>\n
The session’s outcomes emphasized the necessity of drafting a realistic ministerial program that takes into account the nature and challenges of the current phase. This particularly includes the repercussions of the Strait of Hormuz closure crisis, the security dossier, and the management of foreign relations under wartime conditions. Furthermore, attendees stressed the importance of the program providing a clear definition of the Prime Minister’s role, in his capacity as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, during both times of peace and war.<\/p>\n
